It's NOT In The Grind...It's In The Grin
How to be the source of creation rather than the fight against it.
I can’t take complete credit for this line! It was more of a co-creation as I was chewing something over with ChatGPT, or Tars as I like to call it (a throwback to the AI in the movie Interstellar).
But it’s such a good summary of the two very different modes of creation that are within us:
The Grind:
Pushing and struggling against life.
Believing that the world is made of solid matter only.
Looking for the right strategy or method.
Efforting hard as if you are separate from everything around you - trying to make things happen.
Hoping that if you push and struggle hard enough that you will get the result that you want.
It works to some extent.
But the results are inconsistent because while you’re grinding, you’re often still being the version of you who doesn’t yet have what you want. So there’s incoherence between who you are being and the version of you that would effortlessly create or receive the outcome.
The Grin
It begins with remembering that we live in an energetic reality.
Before any action is taken, you shift your frequency by allowing yourself to feel what you’d feel if your desired outcome were already true - right now!
You visualise.
You rehearse.
You feel yourself reacting to life and your environment as if it has already happened.
Hope is replaced with KNOWING.
And this isn’t just wishful thinking - there’s science behind it.
There’s plenty of research showing that the body and brain respond to visualised outcomes:
They create new neural connections
They alter gene expression
They physically reshape the structure of the brain
Of course, there’s still action in this situation. But it’s not effort.
It’s aligned.
It’s magnetic.
It’s intuited.
It’s inspired.
It’s the kind of action that feels obvious, even joyful
It comes out when you GRIN!
This is the space where magic happens, and where there’s far less to do than you think.
Because in this state, your state of being - your felt state of coherence with your intention - does the heavy lifting. It magnetises the outcomes. And you simply respond to what emerges from the probability field.
So if you’re struggling today…
If you are efforting and frustrated…
STOP!
Pause and ask yourself:
“If I knew the thing I’m trying to create was already done…
How would I be showing up?
What would I be doing?
How would I feel?
How would I interact with life?”
Now go ahead and live and act from that…
And here’s a little tip - sometimes when you tune into this state of being, there’s nothing to do. But that doesn’t mean that nothing is happening. It just means life is adjusting itself around who you are now being.
From this place it’s okay to watch and wait for the invitation to act.
And trust the nudges from your intuition!
